Nomination for a National Innovation Visa

What it is for

This form records a nominator's attestation supporting a person's application for a National Innovation (subclass 858) visa, confirming that the applicant has an internationally recognised record of exceptional achievement in their area of talent and would be an asset to the Australian community. It is lodged together with the visa application as part of the assessment.

Who completes it

A nominator, being an individual (an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen) or an Australian organisation acting to attest to the applicant's standing. It is not completed by the visa applicant.

General categories include the nominator's identity and Australian residency or organisation status, their relationship to and knowledge of the applicant, and their attestation about the applicant's record of achievement and prominence in the relevant field, supported by attached statements and evidence.
