YourVisaSite provides software, a practitioner directory, secure enquiry and case-workspace tools, and change notices that link to official sources. It is an independent service and is not part of the Department of Home Affairs or the Australian Government.
The platform does not assess eligibility, recommend a visa, predict an outcome, prepare an application, or lodge anything. Platform content has not been reviewed by a lawyer or registered migration agent. Always read the linked official source. Any personalised service is provided by the practitioner you choose under a separate agreement with that practitioner.
A practitioner controls their profile, professional content, client files, advice, agreements, fees, refunds, and work. Registration details may be checked against an official public register, but YourVisaSite does not supervise or guarantee a practitioner's work. Practitioners must keep their details and authority current and must not make misleading claims.
The checkout page shows the exact price before payment. Paid alert and practice plans renew monthly until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal and paid access normally continues to the end of the paid period. Failed payments may place paid tools into a grace or read-only state; practice data is not deleted merely because payment failed. Prices are in Australian dollars and are shown as GST-inclusive where stated.
You can cancel a platform subscription through the secure billing portal or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewal and normally leaves access in place until the paid period ends. In addition to rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, we offer a full refund of the first payment for Applicant Alerts, Practitioner OS, or a first staff-seat subscription when you ask within 14 calendar days and the plan has not been materially used. Creating an account, setting preferences, or viewing setup screens is not material use. Material use includes delivery of a paid alert or using Practitioner OS with a real client, matter, portal request, document output, or extension writeback. We review duplicate, incorrect, failed-service, and consumer-guarantee claims separately; this voluntary promise never limits statutory rights.
An alert means our system detected and published a change at a listed source. It is not advice and is not a guarantee of complete, error-free, or instant coverage. The live coverage page shows which sources are active, delayed, or unavailable. Corrections may replace an earlier alert. Paid alert sales stay closed when no advertised source is active.
Unpaid directory results keep their neutral order. Sponsored cards appear in a separate, clearly labelled area. A sponsored position does not mean endorsement. Advertisers can set a bid and spending cap; only clicks accepted by the platform's validity checks may use prepaid credit, and invalid or duplicate clicks may be credited. Sponsorship does not guarantee enquiries or clients.
Professional fees are arranged and paid directly under the practitioner's agreement with the client; YourVisaSite does not hold professional fees or client money. If a separately gated online consultation-payment feature is enabled, its checkout explains the practitioner's service, cancellation and refund terms before payment. Government application charges are separate and are never paid to YourVisaSite.
Keep sign-in details secure and give accurate information. Do not upload material you are not allowed to use, impersonate another person, interfere with the service, manipulate advertising clicks, or use the platform unlawfully. We may restrict an account to protect users, preserve evidence, investigate misuse, or comply with a lawful obligation. The relevant data remains available for export or return where the service and applicable obligations allow it.
We work to keep the service available, but government websites, email, payment services, and other dependencies can fail or change. We may pause a feature that is unsafe, unreliable, or no longer supported. We will describe material paid-plan changes before they take effect where practical.
Use our contact and complaints page. The privacy notice explains how personal information is handled.
