- This form is a fund manager's declaration confirming that specified investments (venture capital and growth private equity funds, emerging companies investments, and balancing investments) meet the complying-investment requirements under the Migration Regulations 1994 and the associated legislative instrument.
- Who completes it
- The primary visa applicant provides their client details, and the relevant declaring fund manager completes the declarations about each investment fund.
- Information it collects (in general terms)
- It captures general categories of information including the applicant's identity and contact details, the application stream, and, for each fund, its name and registration or licensing details, the fund manager's details, and investment amounts, together with the manager's declarations that the investments comply with the relevant requirements.
- When it is used
- It is used for subclass 188 Investor and Significant Investor stream applications invited on or after 1 July 2021; applications lodged before 1 July 2015 use form 1413 instead.
