- What it is for
- Records a formal nomination of a Business Skills visa applicant by a state or territory government agency (or, for certain investor streams, by Austrade on behalf of the Australian Government). It supports applications for the Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) subclass 188 and (Permanent) subclass 888 programs.
- Who completes it
- The visa applicant completes their own general details, but the nominating body — a state/territory business development agency or Austrade — completes, signs and stamps the nomination portion. It is lodged together with the applicant's visa application.
- Information it collects (in general terms)
- Applicant identity and contact details, relationship status and partner information, the visa subclass and stream sought, and the nominating agency's nomination and validity details, including provision for seeking release from a previous nominator.
- When it is used
- Used when a Business Skills visa subclass requires a state, territory or Austrade nomination — for example when extending a provisional visa or applying for the permanent stage — and the nomination is not otherwise recorded through SkillSelect.
