- What it is for
- This is the written notice used to formally withdraw a visa application that is currently on foot with the Department. Once a withdrawal is accepted, no further action can be taken on that application and any future request requires a fresh application.
- Who completes it
- The visa applicant, or a person with clear authority to act for the applicant (such as a registered migration agent); for an applicant under 18, a parent or guardian signs on their behalf.
- Information it collects (in general terms)
- Identifying details of the application being withdrawn and the applicant, contact information, and where a representative is acting, details establishing their authority to withdraw, together with a signed declaration.
- When it is used
- Used when an applicant (or their authorised representative) decides to discontinue a pending visa application before it is decided, including cases where multiple people lodged a combined application and each wishes to withdraw.
This site is not affiliated with the Australian Government. Forms are completed and lodged in your own ImmiAccount; this platform never submits anything to the department.
