Sponsorship for migration to Australia (parent, aged dependent relative, remaining relative, carer)

What it is for

Allows an eligible person in Australia to formally sponsor a relative migrating under specific family visa categories and to give the required sponsorship undertakings supporting that person's application.

Who completes it

The prospective sponsor (an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen), completed in support of the relative's visa application.

Information it collects (in general terms)

Sponsor identity and personal details, the relationship to and details of the visa applicant and their family unit, integrity and character declarations, and the sponsor's support undertakings.

When it is used

Used when sponsoring a parent, aged dependent relative, remaining relative or carer applying for one of the listed migrant, residence or contributory parent visa subclasses; a different form applies for partners or children.
